SUNY Korea Students Design Chocolate Dresses

If these dresses look good enough to eat, don’t hold back: They’re mostly made of chocolate! FIT‘s third-semester Fashion Design students at SUNY Korea were tasked with sketching a dress and making a basic structure of a garment for a fashion show at Salon du Chocolat Seoul 2020, a trade show held in January. The theme of this year’s show was “nature.”

Students were scored on creativity of the garment, relevance to the theme, and feasibility of construction. A panel of judges and industry professionals chose the eight winners, whose dresses were produced by the chocolatiers at the show. Each student also received a $300 stipend.
