Celebrated behind-the-scenes photographer Roxanne Lowit, Textile Design ’64, died in September. Vogue, WWD, Dazed, and W magazines paid tribute, and The New York Times ran both an obituary and a separate encomium. While we often spotlight media coverage of FIT alumni on our Newsroom homepage, we also wanted to revisit some of the images Lowit shot for Hue, the magazine of FIT in 2008, marking the opening of The Museum at FIT’s exhibition about gothic style.
