Ron Amato, professor of Photography, has curated a new exhibition at The SoHo Project Space titled Voyeur: A Photographic Exploration. The show, a group exhibition of more than 90 photographs from 12 artists, includes Amato and FIT faculty member Pacifico Silano. The work in the show explores the concept of voyeurism and the male form. The exhibition began on February 12 and is on display through March 1.
Voyeur is Amato’s second curatorial effort for the gallery in his role as curator of Photography. Under the direction of Rocco Lofaro Buonpane, The SoHo Project Space is dedicated to preserving the gay art exhibition legacy of Charles W. Leslie and J. Frederic “Fritz” Lohman, with a specific focus on the male nude.
