Fair or Frustrating? A Student-Faculty Roundtable on FIT Attendance Policies

April 25 at 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

The Center for Excellence in Teaching invites you to participate in a Student-Faculty event: “Fair or Frustrating: A Student-Faculty Roundtable on FIT Attendance Policies.”

The idea behind this roundtable is for students and faculty to have an open dialogue on attendance policies:

  • Discuss how and why attendance policies are developed with FIT faculty members
  • Provide feedback on your experiences of attendance policies at FIT
  • Voice your concerns about the challenges you’ve faced with attendance expectations
  • Share your perspectives and experiences

This roundtable is an opportunity for students and faculty to discuss why attendance policies matter and how they impact the student experience. Students will be encouraged to provide feedback and share perspectives on attendance policies.

The feedback from events like this roundtable help faculty get a better understanding of the student experience while providing the Center for Excellence in Teaching insight into ways we can best support faculty teaching and student learning at FIT.

Lunch will be provided. Contact Brian Fallon, director of Faculty Development, with questions.

This event is for the FIT community only; REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED, as space is limited.  THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
