Helene Verin Pens Book to Accompany Artist’s Exhibition

Portrait of Helene Verin, painted by Philip Pearlstein.

Helene Verin, Career and Internship Services, wrote a book titled Musing: Sitting for a Portrait by Philip Pearlstein that will accompany Pearlstein‘s upcoming exhibition Facing You. In the book, Verin describes the experience—the talk, the food, the music, and the painting—that transpired during her 14 sittings for her recent portrait. The show will be on view May 5 through June 30 at Betty Cunningham Gallery at 15 Rivington Street in Manhattan; an opening reception will be held May 5 from 6 to 8 pm. Verin’s portrait (seen here) will be on view.
