In December, Maria Hwang, Science and Math, taught a computer science class to children in Hamilton, Bermuda, at a hackathon that was organized to give young people experience in the tech industry. She found out about the event from a discarded newspaper while on vacation in Bermuda and offered to volunteer.

The Royal Gazette covered the event online; read more about it by clicking here.
