Imran Islam Presents Research at Two Recent Conferences

Md. Imranul (Imran) Islam, Textile Development and Marketing, recently presented his research at two important conferences. In late October, he presented the paper “Prediction of Stitch Length of Knitted Fabric from Yarn Input Tension and Yarn Delivery: An Independent Technique than What Industry Practitioners Use” at the International Textile and Apparel Association (ITAA) 2019 annual conference in Las Vegas. The ITAA is a professional, educational association composed of scholars, educators, and students in the textile, apparel, and merchandising disciplines.

In early November, Islam presented his research on “Implementation of Critical Path in Knitwear Manufacturing to Address Social Sustainability in Bangladesh” at the 2019 Polymer and Textiles Conference held at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. The conference is held by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
