Mary Davis, dean of the School of Graduate Studies, delivered the commencement address at graduation exercises for the Milano Fashion Institute on January 17. Carlo Capasa, chairman of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, also spoke at the event. The Milano Fashion Institute is a consortium of three entities—Bocconi University, Cattolica University of the Sacred Heart, and the Politecnico di Milano.
FIT and the Politecnico di Milano have had a partnership since 2007; a newly developing collaboration with the Milano Fashion Institute will focus on graduate and executive-level education.
