Brian Fallon and Sarah Blazer, director and associate director of the FIT Writing and Speaking Studio respectively, were selected to publish an article in a special issue of Composition Forum on promoting social justice for multilingual writers on college campuses. Their article, “Changing Conditions for Multilingual Writers: Writing Centers Destabilizing Standard Language Ideology,” features original research and showcases staff education efforts that promote empathy and socially responsible tutoring practices.
