Carolyn D’Angelo, adjunct assistant professor, Home Products Development, has been named one of the most influential women in asset-based lending by ABF Journal, a leading trade publication for private equity.
D’Angelo, a managing director at Gordon Brothers and president of Laura Ashley, has a rich history of working with brands including Disney, Martha Stewart, Ralph Lauren, Emeril Lagasse and Sur La Table. In 2021, D’Angelo was named president of Laura Ashley and tasked with revitalizing the storied British home and lifestyle brand.
As D’Angelo told ABF Journal: “A brand is only as valuable as the end consumer dictates. A big part of my role is to create that value through unique marketing platforms, developing products and services that enhance the emotional connection to the brand.”
