Michael Nagle, Advertising and Marketing Communications, has been invited to serve as a judge for the 45th annual Telly Awards, an industry prize that honors excellence in television and video.
This year’s theme, “Beyond the Frame,” aims to highlight work that pushes the boundaries our creativity—whether it’s embracing new storytelling formats, engaging with emerging technology, or using classic techniques to feature diverse points of views. Nagle will be judging creative submission in four categories: Branded Content and Entertainment, People’s Telly, Social, and TV Shows/Segments. Winners are announced in May 2024.
Nagle also recently spoke at the OTT Executive Summit, held virtually Dec. 12 and 13. Now in its 10th year, the on-demand video conference regularly attracts thousands of attendees and over a hundred speakers. Nagle spoke about content personalization in streaming and how to match the right content to the right audience.
In addition to teaching at FIT, Nagle is general manager of streaming and senior director of OTT for Gannett/USA Today Networks.
