The publication also noted the expertise of FIT’s faculty—many of whom are active in the industry—and the college’s emphasis on real-world skills across design, business, and technology.
The accolade reflects the continued impact of FIT alumni, including Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Norma Kamali, Peter Do, Daniel Roseberry, and Francisco Costa. A majority of recent working alumni remain employed in New York City, underscoring the college’s role as a talent pipeline for the industry.
