Christie Shin and C.J. Yeh, both professors of Illustration and Interactive Media and coordinators of Creative Technology and Design, spoke at the AI Plus Symposium: The Future of Education, hosted by the University at Albany (SUNY) March 6–8.
This national gathering brought together industry experts and academics to explore the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in learning environments while addressing critical ethical and institutional challenges. Shin and Yeh, both award-winning educators and designers, gave a presentation on the topic of “Agentic Design: Architecting the Future of Creative Intelligence (CI),” sharing their expertise on integrating AI into creative curricula to prepare students for an evolving, technology-augmented professional landscape.
