Three CFMM Graduates accepted the WWD Beauty Biz “Brand of Year (Mass Markets)” Award

Three graduates of the Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing and Management program, class of 2009, now working together as C-Suite executives at e.l.f. cosmetics in Silicon Valley (center, Kory Marchisotto, chief marketing officer; second from right, Laurie Lam, chief brand officer; and Melinda Fried, far right, head of global communications) accepted the WWD Beauty Biz “Brand of Year (Mass Markets)” Award at the WWD annual breakfast on December 8.  An outstanding example of FIT classmates working together as innovative leaders and change agents in one of the beauty industry’s leading indie brands, which has changed the business model for beauty branding especially through the use of TikTok and brand collaborations outside the beauty sector (including Dunkin’ Donuts and Chipotle).
