C.J. Yeh and Christie Shin, both Communication Design, have been given an 2017 iF Design Award. iF International Forum Design GmbH, based in Hannover, Germany, is one of the world’s oldest independently owned design institutions, and it organizes the iF Design Award competition. Yeh and Shin’s studio, Cynda Media Lab, won over the 58-member jury of international experts with its rebranding of American toy company GUND. The competition was intense; over 5,500 entries were submitted from 59 countries.
