A community discussion will be held about a proposal to take FIT’s campus from “smoke-free” to “tobacco-free” as part of a SUNY-wide commitment to health. A task force comprised of faculty members, administrators, and students led by Coordinator of the Presidential Scholars Program Irene Buchman and Acting Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Success Kelly Brennan have been exploring the issue throughout this academic year, speaking with faculty, staff and students in order to develop the proposal. There will be time for discussion and comments at the meeting.
