Kingsley Parker’s multimedia works were on view in an exhibition titled Oceans apart at Thompson Giroux Gallery in Chatham, NY, from March 3 through 27. The recipient of a Sea Grant from the University of Rhode Island, Parker took over the entire gallery space for this work, which addressed the state of the oceans—pollution, over-fishing, the economies of coastal communities—and how they got that way.
