Before COVID-19, Jean Marc Rejaud, assistant chair, Advertising and Marketing Communications, collaborated with the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) to offer a popular shopper marketing seminar to its membership. When in-person education was canceled this year, Rejaud converted the program to a remote format. The first seminar was delivered to Edrington, a Scotland-based spirits house, in June.
Rejaud also collaborated with ISCOM, an educational partner to FIT in France, to organize an online International Marketing Competition Week from June 29 to July 5. Entrants developed proposals for marketing campaigns to drive the adoption of electric bicycles in the U.S. market. Speakers from Parley for the Oceans, a nonprofit advocating for cleaner oceans, offered inspiration.
